RESUME

Barbara Scott lives in Londonderry, New Hampshire. She has two grown daughters, Kirstin and Taryn. As a child, Barbara was constantly drawing and considered herself a "doodler". Her first experience in painting occurred in the late seventies when she took oil painting classes in Conway, NH from local artists.

 In 1982 Barbara and her family moved to Londonderry. A hectic work and parenting schedule took up most of her time but she managed to take an occasional class at the NH Art Institute in Manchester, NH. Barbara returned to her love of painting in 2002.

"As much as I love working in my studio I will always be a student at heart. I enjoy the classroom environment and when the opportunity arises, I love going to demonstrations and work shops."

To date Barbara continues her training with on-going classes from local artists and is a member of several local art associations.

 Barbara likes to take photos of the locale to use as references back at her studio where she completes her work.
